I am an entrepreneur and a freelancer in mobile app design. I’ve been an entrepreneur since the age of 15 and started my first business around that time. To read my entire introduction (01), click here.

I am currently a UI/UX app freelancer, working for many startups in software & app development. In the span of 8 months, my rates went from $400 for a website to $12,000 for an entire app design. Parallel to that time, my knowledge about launching an app went from very little to now being confident enough to share what I’ve learned and the success I’ve had. At the same time as pursuing freelancing full-time, I also started work on my own app. I’ll cover this later in a future article.

How it all started

At the beginning of 2015, I started my first business. At this point in my life, I was a sophomore in high school and wanted to create custom travel & fashion bags. This business took me all the way to the end of 2019 before I dissolved it in search of something new. In total, my bag business generated around $4,500 over the course of 5 years.
